Acts of the Apostles

The book of Acts is a textbook of church history, leadership and discipleship. It is a masterpiece that depicts God’s sovereignty and His mission of bringing the gospel to the ends of the earth.

This session is an overview study of Acts. The Holy Spirit and early church movements will be discussed along with the challenges and oppositions faced by the apostles as they shared the gospel in Jerusalem, Samaria and Gentile regions of the known world.

This study aims to assist the believer in:

(1)   Appreciating the Person and work of the Holy Spirit in the early church

(2)   Recognizing the origin of the church and the opposition it faced in the early days

(3)   Learning and applying Biblical principles of leadership, discipleship and praye
