We praise God for another Sunday School LIVE via Zoom!

We thank you parents for your continuous partnership and making each Sunday a memorable time of fellowship, learning, and growing in Christ.

We do encourage that you review today’s lessons and further study with your child.

*We looked at Philippians 3:1–16

“All I want is to know Christ and the power of his rising from death. I want to share in Christ’s sufferings and become like him in his death.” (Philippians 3:10, ICB)

*We learned that Paul says he’s looking forward to his prize. What prize is he talking about? (New life. “Forever life” with God.)

Challenge given:

Talk with your child about the challenge and let them create by either putting it into a song, poetry, pictures/drawings, photography, essay, dance, etc. and do share it with us at sundayschoolcabc@gmail.com

Did you know you can have the same prize Paul was so excited about? And you can’t earn it. It’s a gift! Have you ever asked God to give you that gift?

Assignment for the week: Be a "Starblazer" and shine at home and in my community.

For Further Study:

Use these questions to talk to your child about the message of Philippians. Then consider taking the so-what challenge to incorporate this session’s message into your own life alongside your child.

SO WHAT?
For Toddlers

Make up a simple song with your child and sing together about how you want “forever life with God” as your prize.

For Grade Schoolers

Ask your child to recall the best gift they’ve ever received. Talk with him or her about what it means to receive forever life with God as a free gift.

For You

As you think about your life, are you still proud of your obedience to the rules? Does your pride conflict with your love for Christ in this way? Make a conscious effort to surrender that to God this week and walk in His freely given grace.
