Greetings in the name of the LORD!
We praise God for another Sunday School LIVE via Zoom!
We thank you parents for your continuous partnership and making each Sunday a memorable time of fellowship, learning and growing in Christ.
We end the study of the letter of Philippians today.
We do encourage that you review today’s lessons and further study with your child.
Recap:
*We looked at Philippians 4:21–23
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.” (Philippians 4:21–23, ICB)
*We learned that joy comes from relationships with friends and with God. From helping other people meet God. From knowing that God’s promises will come true.
*We also learned that it is wonderful to be obsessed with Jesus and share His love and word to others!
*We listened “I Got the Joy, Joy, Joy” https://video.link/w/MG1mb
“I Match God’s Heart” https://video.link/w/PL1mb
Challenge given:
Talk with your child about the challenge and let them create by either putting it into a song, poetry, pictures/drawings, photography, essay, dance etc. and do share it with us at sundayschoolcabc@gmail.com
The world says we need all of our problems solved to be happy. Paul says all we need to be happy is a relationship with God. What do you think?
For Further Study:
Use these questions to talk to your child about the message of Philippians. Then consider taking the so-what challenge to incorporate this session’s message into your own life alongside your child.
SO WHAT?
For Toddlers
Bookend this series by reminding your child about joy. Ask, “What does the Bible tell us is better than fun?” and every time he or she responds with “joy” cheer and give them a hug.
For Grade Schoolers
Ask your child to identify 2–3 people who love Jesus and talk to him or her about what stands out about the faith of those individuals. Talk about how your child could model the faith of those he or she admires.
For You
Find a moment to be still before God and thank Him for the relationship He has given you through Christ. Remind yourself, as Paul says, all we need to be happy is a relationship with God.
For next Sunday:
We will start a new book and be looking at “Where Does Hope Come From?”
Do read 1 Peter 1:1
See you next Sunday at 9:30 am!
A new Zoom link will be sent to you via email within the week.
In His Service,
Rizza Damian
