The Gospel, Grace, Glory Conference (G3) emphasized the role and importance of the local church in missions. In order to build healthy new churches, it is very important to have expository pulpit preaching and to have biblically qualified leaders (Titus 1:5-9, 1 Timothy 3:1-13, 1 Peter 5:1-4). There must also be real accountability from within the church and to those who are being sent out to the mission field.
As a church we must carefully examine our underlying motive as we participate in the mission of God. What is the message that we are preaching? What have we done to spread the fragrance of Jesus in the local community of Commonwealth Avenue that Christ Almighty Baptist Church is located in?
